It’s not just a tagline, it’s what has lead our product development for decades. Every Proctor Silex appliance begins its journey in our engineering lab. Motors rotate, switches turn and mechanical arms spin for days on end, testing each function and feature. Then it’s off to the kitchen, where the staff uses the product much like you would – cooking and creating to ensure it will make your life a bit easier. Only when an appliance passes our rigorous testing do we know it’s ready for your home.
Proctor Silex Steam Iron with Retractable Cord with Stainless Steel Soleplate The durable stainless steel soleplate on the Proctor Silex Steam Iron with Retractable Cord smoothly presses and glides over fabrics, while the precision tip presses hard-to-reach areas.
The steam iron provides excellent steam performance to remove wrinkles quickly. It's powered with 1500 watts to steam away even the most stubborn creases. Versatile steam options include adjustable steam, a spray button for targeting stubborn wrinkles and a blast button that releases quick bursts of extra steam for steam ironing or vertical steam. Loosen wrinkles and refresh clothes right on the hanger with vertical steam.
The 3-way auto shutoff turns the iron off within 1 minute if it falls on its face or side, and the iron automatically turns off in 30 minutes if it's left unattended on its heel
The iron has an easy-to-fill water opening and a soleplate that's designed with anti-drip technology to reduce annoying water drips on clothing
The long 8' foot retractable cord provides plenty of reach and makes the iron easy to store
Durable Stainless Steel Soleplate Smoothly Glides Over Fabrics
For reliability year after year, this steam iron has a durable stainless steel soleplate that moves easily over fabrics, while the precision tip accesses small or hard-to-reach areas.
Peace of Mind with 3-Way Auto Shutoff
Iron shuts off within 1 minute if iron falls on face or side, or in 30 minutes if left unattended on its heel. Since it's motion-sensitive, you can quickly turn the iron back on by simply moving it.
Excellent Steam Performance with 1500 Watts of Power
High-velocity steam removes wrinkles quickly. Even the most wrinkle-prone fabrics such linen and canvas are no match for this iron's powerful steam. It has adjustable steam, spray and blast.
Easy to Fill
The iron has a large water opening that's easy to fill.
Easy to Store with 8' Retractable Cord
Tired of dangling cords that keep getting in your way? Don't worry. The 8' cord on this steam iron provides plenty of reach when you need it but then retracts back into the iron for neat, easy storage.
Designed with Anti-drip Technology
If you've ever had to iron a second shirt because your iron dripped all over the first one, you know how important it is to have an anti-drip soleplate. The Proctor Silex iron reduces leaks on clothing and fabrics.
