It’s not just a tagline, it’s what has led our product development for decades. Every Proctor Silex appliance begins its journey in our engineering lab. Motors rotate, switches turn and mechanical arms spin for days on end, testing each function and feature. Then it’s off to the test kitchen, where the staff uses the product much like you would. Only when an appliance passes our rigorous testing do we know it’s ready for its final test – your home.
Proctor Silex Deluxe Hot Sandwich Maker with Non-stick Plates Easily make a variety of hot grilled sandwiches from grilled cheese and classic Reuben sandwiches to paninis and Mexican tortas in less than 5 minutes.
The sandwich maker heats sandwich ingredients, melts cheese, and creates a crispy, golden outer crust on bread for sandwiches that look as good as they taste. The nonstick plates accommodate either 2 thick sandwiches at once or 1 long sandwich. The floating lid evenly presses food, so you can pile sandwiches high and they'll still cook evenly on both sides. A lid latch keeps the sandwich maker shut between uses and makes it easy to store either flat or upright.
